{"id":223363,"date":"2022-11-15T04:28:20","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T04:28:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ycdei.com\/?p=223363"},"modified":"2022-11-15T04:28:20","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T04:28:20","slug":"international-day-of-the-girl-child-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ycdei.com\/?p=223363","title":{"rendered":"International Day Of The Girl Child 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child 2022 with the theme \u2018Our Time is Now, Our Future, Our Right\u2019, Youthcare Development and Empowerment Initiative team members visited 4 schools through that week to sensitize girls and few boys on the following topics as it relates to the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Girls Reproductive Health Rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Girls Right as it on Equality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Girls Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Embracing Leadership<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reporting Gender-Based Violence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The schools visited include;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mount Olivet Grammar School, Ashi-Bodija<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Isabatudeen Girls Grammar School 1 &amp; 2, General Gas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basorun Ojoo High School, Ashi-Bodija<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basorun High School, Basorun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Youthcare partnered with The Shunamite Foundation for Women and Children and we were able to reach a total of 2817 students through that week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child 2022 with the theme \u2018Our Time is Now, Our Future, Our Right\u2019, Youthcare Development and Empowerment Initiative team members visited 4 schools through that week to sensitize girls and few boys on the following topics as it relates to the theme.
