The Learning and Action Alliance for Girl’s Agency (LAAGA) project held her dissemination program on Saturday, 15 November 2025. The event brought together community members, parents, stakeholders, religious leaders, educators, and partners who have supported the project from the beginning.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the program, the Principal Investigator, Professor Adefunke Ekine, presented the progress made so far and shared key findings from the research. She highlighted how the project has helped girls build confidence, strengthen their voice, and improve their ability to make informed decisions about their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants at the event spoke about the positive changes they have observed since the project started. Community stakeholders expressed their commitment to continue supporting girls in their journey to becoming active and empowered members of society. They also noted that the project has created greater awareness about the importance of girl’s agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents shared testimonies about how their daughters now feel more confident, more expressive, and more aware of their strengths. Religious leaders also encouraged the community to keep promoting safe and supportive environments where girls can thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dissemination program was impactful. It showed that when communities work together with researchers, real change is possible. The LAAGA project continues to demonstrate that empowering girls is an investment in a stronger and more inclusive future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
