At the Gender-Based Violence Capacity Building Training for Female Religious Leaders, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State, Rev. E.O. Ogundiya, expressed strong support for the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n

In his remarks, he affirmed that CAN Oyo State is ready to collaborate with YcDEI, reinforcing the importance of faith-based leadership in driving sustainable change. He admonished the participants that they should use their knowledge from the training to impact their churches and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This commitment highlights the growing recognition that religious institutions play a pivotal role in prevention, advocacy, and the creation of safe spaces within communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we continue this work, collaboration across stakeholders will remain key to addressing GBV effectively. We are immensely grateful to CAN Oyo State, for their innumerable efforts and presence at the training.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
