The Association Against Child Sexual and Gender Based Violence (AACSGBV) Oyo State on the 26^th April, 2022 held her annual conference and also the inauguration of the State Executives. The National Coordinator Dr. Eris Jewo-ibi gave a brief history of how AACSGBV started in 2015 and its registration with CAC. She also mentioned that the focus of the association is to eliminate child sexual and gender based violence at the community level. The guest speaker Mr. Oyinloye Otolorin spoke on promoting social security: championing inclusivity. In his presentation, He mentioned that a total of 614 cases of Gender-based violence were recorded between the year 2020 to 2021 in Oyo State. The state executives were called out, prayers were made for them and the chapter was officially inaugurated. The program officer of Youthcare Development and Empowerment Initiative (YCDEI) Mr. Timothy Oni was appointed as the Youth lead for the Association.
