Today marks the official start of the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global movement calling everyone to stand with women and girls and take bold action to end all forms of violence. Every year, this campaign brings the world together to speak out, raise awareness, and push for real change. This year, YCDEI is once again proud to lend its voice and strength to the cause.

At YCDEI, we believe that every woman and girl deserves to live in safety, dignity, and freedom. Our commitment goes beyond awareness. It is a collective stand for justice, equity, and humanity. Gender-based violence affects families, communities, and entire societies, and solving it requires all of us working together.

As we begin these 16 days, we call on everyone to join the movement in meaningful ways. Together, we can create a culture where safety is the norm and violence is never tolerated.

The movement starts today. The responsibility belongs to us all. Let us use these days as a reminder of our shared duty to build a world where women and girls are truly safe, not just in words, but in reality.
