In commemoration of 2022 World Day against Child Labor, Youthcare Development and Empowerment Initiative in collaboration with Child Protection Network (CPN) and the State Steering committee on Child Labour organized a school outreach at St. Paul’s Anglican Primary School, Yanbule, Ibadan(one of Youthcare outreach schools ) on the 14th of June, 2022. A total of 200 pupils were present at the assembly ground and 13 teachers with 9 members from the State Steering Committee on child labour. Participants were told of the effects of child labour and the ripple effect on the education of the child especially the girls who are mostly trafficked as house helps .
